About Me
Hello! My name is Evan Richardson and I am a local photographer and videographer based out of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN. I primarily work within the Henderson-Jackson area but I also cover the wider area between Memphis and Nashville.
My Journey
I have been operating freelance since June 2023 while hailing a total of four years experience. I first became interested in August 2019 after completing me Standard PADI certification and started a high school videography class with the intention of gaining skill in underwater videography. After leaving my school's wrestling team to focus on these studies, I became interested in sports after my instructor encouraged me to continue involvement in the wrestling team by videoing them. By my senior year of high school, I had then become involved with shooting soccer, basketball, and baseball as well. At the request of my friend on the men's soccer team, I also became attracted to photography after taking pictures of them with my phone, later being given a Canon Rebel T7 to start my own photography.
Later enrolling at Freed-Hardeman University, I became partnered with coaches of several of FHU's sports to create both photos and videos, including basketball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, softball, golf, cheerleading, and tennis. After a massive increase in my audience as a result of this coverage, I also obtained permission to create photos and videos for Chester County Junior High School and Chester County High School.
My Experience
I have a broad area of expertise in many categories of photography and videography, particularly sports action shots, portrait photography (including families, couples, senior pictures, and engagements), weddings, marketing photography, flash photography, etc. With both reasonable prices and timeslots, I am very passionate in creating memories for all of my clients and am more than eager to work with you.
